Hello! Welcome to my page. My name is Sofia Palese a.k.a OSTEO. I’m a self-made artist based here in Atlanta, GA. A little about myself and where I come from, I’m Italian-American born here in the south. I grew up in the United States and in Italy (Apuglia) all my life. Most of my inspiration as an artist came from Apuglia, and it’s beautiful architecture and unique geography. What I was drawn to the most were the architectural ruins and the forgotten, of this quiet little town on the Mediterranean coast. I believed I could turn the “ugly” into something more beautiful, using abstractionism in my photos and in my artwork. I acquired a love for this style, from free-handing bizarre patterns to carving old forgotten animal bones. I love to keep my viewers in expectation, and not only it be my imagination but yours too!
